Holiday Party, 12/7 – Speaking of the holiday party…don’t forget to join us on December 7th at 5:30pm in 714C University Hall. Come, enjoy food, relax, and celebrate the end of the semester (and many Cal STAPH accomplishments!). The 2012-13 Exec Board members will be announced at the shin-dig.
Surprise Guest, Dr. Mark Horton – We had a surprise guest attend the Cal STAPH meeting – former director and health officer of the California Department of Public Health, Dr. Mark Horton! Dr. Horton now holds a faculty-in-residence position with UC Berkeley SPH and has generously offered to help advise and support Cal STAPH. We are thrilled to have this opportunity and welcome Dr. Horton’s contributions!
Welcome Coordinator Team: We also officially introduced the Coordinator Team to Cal STAPH. If you haven’t already done so, please join us in offering a warm welcome Dr. Jennifer Lachance and Katherine Sausen! We are very fortunate to have institutional support for this group, and are looking forward working together with the Coordinator Team to help build Cal STAPH, strengthen our ties with the public health community, and provide more opportunities for you! Did we mention that this is a fantastic time to think about joining the Exec Board??
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
