Program Coordinators

CalSTAPH is honored to have the support of two program coordinators from the UC Berkeley School of Public Health that bring their years of experience in public health leadership to our organization.

Mark Horton, MD, MPH, is a lecturer with the Center for Health Leadership at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. Prior to that, from July 2007 to March 2011, he was state public health officer and director of the California Department of Public Health, appointed to the office by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Patricia Wakimoto, DrPH, MS, is the Associate Director for the Center for Public Health Practice and has more than 15 years of consulting experience in nutrition services and food service management as well as more than 12 years of experience in public health program management, outreach education, and community-based and applied research. She received her MS in health education at Indiana University and her DrPH from UC Berkeley. To continue reading about Patricia, please click here.

Cal STAPH Program Coordinators act as liaisons between Cal STAPH, faculty, and community partners and assist the Executive Board in planning efforts and program management.

CalSTAPH is grateful for the support of past Program Coordinators:
